Upcoming performances:
York (May 22 & 23 – priority), Manchester (June 28), Leicester (Oct 2)

* Set up/manage paid ads (Meta/Instagram) with local targeting
* Conduct outreach to universities (e.g. York, York St John), student groups, and community organisations
* Identify and engage local influencers and networks
* Coordinate social media content and posting
* Drive urgency in final sales period (last 10-14 days)
* Monitor performance and adapt strategy quickly

**Essential:**

* Experience in event/theatre marketing or similar
* Strong understanding of audience targeting and conversions
* Experience with paid social ads
* Ability to work independently and deliver quickly

**Desirable:**

* Arts/cultural sector experience
* Familiarity with UK university or South Asian audiences

**Timeline:** Immediate start (within 1 week), 2-3 week contract (York), with potential extension.

**Fee:** £25 per hour up to 5 hrs a week

**Apply with:** short note, relevant experience, examples, availability. By noon, April 15, 2026

**Note:** This is a hands-on role focused on selling tickets, not just increasing visibility

Job Requirements

**Requirements:**

* Experience in event, theatre, or live performance marketing
* Strong understanding of audience targeting and ticket sales conversion
* Ability to plan and execute short, high-impact campaigns
* Experience running paid social ads (Meta/Instagram)
* Confident with outreach to universities, communities, and local networks
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Able to work independently and respond quickly to changing needs

**Desirable:**

* Experience in arts/cultural sector
* Familiarity with UK university, cultural audiences or South Asian or dance/theater communities

How to Apply

**How to Apply:**
Please send:

* A brief note outlining your relevant experience in ticketed event or theatre marketing
* 1–2 examples of campaigns where you directly contributed to ticket sales (include links where possible)
* Your availability over the next 3–4 weeks (York campaign priority)
* Your proposed rate (hourly or fixed)

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Immediate start required.

**Please note:** This is a results-focused role. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate an ability to drive ticket sales, not just increase visibility.
