Job Summary
Permanent, full time, Tues-Sat. Work closely with the Young People & Community Manager to design, plan, coordinate and deliver key elements of our multi-artform participation programme, delivering impact, opportunity personal and skills development for the young people of our region.
Job Description
Salary: £31,057 + benefits Department: Creative Partnerships Employment Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week Hours Per Week: 37.5 – Tuesday to Saturday in term time Working Pattern: 1 day delivery, 3 days coordination, 1 day planning and admin. Tuesday-Saturday working week during term time, with regular evening work required on Wednesdays. Location: Hybrid, with delivery onsite at Birmingham Hippodrome, and occasional visits to other venues. Job Closing Date: 06/04/2026 Interview / Assessment Centre Date(s) w/c: 13/04/2026 To work closely with the Young People & Community Manager to design, plan, coordinate and deliver key elements of the participation programme, including liaison with key contacts and project administration. To plan and deliver high quality, inspiring and exciting projects and activities as part of Birmingham Hippodrome’s multi-artform programme, delivering impact, opportunity, personal and skills development for the young people of our region. Job Requirements
We’re looking for someone with a specialism in Drama / Musical Theatre / Dance / Spoken Word / Performing Arts, including experience in education and participation settings. You will need experience of managing creative projects and working in an administrative role, knowledge of good practice in schools, and knowledge of safeguarding practice in relation to young people. You’ll have the ability to devise and lead workshops, and a strong commitment to inclusion and access. You must have or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
