Job Description
Runjeet Singh Gallery is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic part-time Gallery Assistant to support daily operations at their gallery in Leamington Spa. This role is ideal for someone interested in modern and contemporary art, and offers hands-on experience in a commercial art gallery.
This role is for a part-time position, working 3 days (7 hours/day) per week at the gallery, including weekends. Salary: £12.50 – £14.50 per hour depending on experience.
Job Requirements
Essential
- Graduate or Student of Art History, Curatorial/Museum Studies, Fine Art, or other related field
- Demonstrated interest in contemporary art or arts administration
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to support exhibition installation and deinstallation, involving lifting light objects
- Flexible working schedule with the ability to work weekends and occasional evenings
Desirable
- Previous experience in a gallery/museum setting
- Administrative experience
- Experience bookkeeping
- Experience in content creation or supporting social media campaigns
