At Bloomin’ Arts we are looking for a Lead Visual Arts Tutor to help us run our Make It! course, on Thursday mornings, 40 weeks a year.

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Visual Artist Tutor to deliver our Make It! group of learning, physically disabled and neurodiverse adults. Thursdays Mornings 9am – 1.30pm for 40 weeks of the year.

This group explore a mixture of visual art forms and your ability to lead and run the sessions with support of a team of arts assistants, or another lead tutor is key to the diverse creative nature of this group.

We are based in Lingfield, East Surrey, in a rural location close to the Kent and Sussex borders. Please note, you will need your own transport to get here.

Fee £79.50 per session per week , plus additional planning hours and team meeting hours provided

For the Bloomin’ Arts Make It! Group, we are looking for someone who is personable, enthusiastic, and professional, someone passionate about enabling the creative work of our participant artists and keen to support and develop creative talent in an accessible and inclusive way.

Our participants may attend with one to one or with two to one carers, while others attend independently.

There are 14 people who access the group with half of them bringing one to one support. It’s a group who are keen to continue their visual artwork journey with a new Lead Tutor. This group have taken part in the Big Reveal in East Grinstead (Winter 2025) achieving third place and held an art exhibition in Tunbridge Wells. This group continue to grow and evolve as visual artists.
