This is an exciting moment to join WeCanMake as we gear up for the delivery of our community-led housing programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and over-seeing the production processes in our growing Neighbourhood Factory.
Our cassette-based modular housing system combines homegrown biomaterials, a CNC milling machine, and a suite of digital fabrication and traditional wood-working kit. Our fabrication partner is BlokBuild and we work closely with them to fabricate their high performance BOPAS accredited construction system in our Neighbourhood Factory.
We are in the process of developing our production capability and setting up our Neighbourhood Factory facilities to best deliver a range of housing typologies, including components for retrofit of existing homes, structural components for new build homes, and fit-out of completed homes.
The Production & Workshop Manager is ideal for someone who is adaptable, creative, and keen to grow their experience and role as our Neighbourhood Factory gets established and develops.
