The Film Programme Coordinator will support the Films team in delivering the Film programme for Sheffield DocFest 2026.

Job Description

The Film Programme Coordinator will support the Films team in delivering the Film programme for Sheffield DocFest 2026. They are responsible for coordinating a wide range of moving parts in the film programme and supporting the wider team with any questions needed about filmmakers, guests, Q&As, Youth Jury and any other issues. They will be a key part of the film programme for Sheffield DocFest 2026.

A normal working day is an 8-hour day with a 30-minute break, which anticipates 502.5 hours across the 67 total days.

Freelance contract: 67 days in total

Anticipated workflow:

March: 12 days

April: 20 days

May: 19 days

June: 16 days (Including the festival weekend of 13th and 14th June)

Festival dates: 10th to 15th June
