Swing Technician (Stage Management) – Waitress UK and Ireland Tour

To assist the Stage Manager as directed in regard to the running of the show.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. The Swing Technician will assist the Stage Manager in the running of the show as required.
2. To attend all get-in, fit-up and get-outs as required.
3. To attend during the technical and dress rehearsals or at other times as requested by the Stage Manager.
4. To assist the Stage Manager in ensuring equipment is unpacked and prepared at each venue of the tour.
5. To assist the Stage Manager in coordinating the get-out of equipment at each venue, and in preparing equipment ready for loading at the end of the run.
6. To assist the Stage Manager in ensuring that all equipment is maintained and in safe working order.
7. To assist the Stage Manager in running equipment checks prior to each performance.
8. Attend production meetings if requested and all rehearsals, calls and performances.
9. Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Company.
10. Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
