Oxford Playhouse
Job Summary
Job Description
The Data & Evaluation Manager is responsible for leading Oxford Playhouse’s approach to data, evaluation, insight, and evidence-led decision making. The role ensures that high-quality audience, sales, and engagement data is collected, analysed, interpreted, and shared in ways that meaningfully inform artistic, marketing, commercial, participation, and strategic planning.
The post-holder will champion evaluation as a core organisational practice – embedding learning cycles, impact measurement, and reflective analysis across departments. Acting as a bridge between data and organisational understanding, the role translates information into clear insight, learning, and action. The role acts as the organisation’s data lead, supporting GDPR-compliant, ethical, and effective use of data systems, working closely with the Operations Director and external advisors where required. While line-managed within the Marketing & Sales Department, the role has a cross-organisational remit, supporting decision- making across all departments.
