Stage Manager

Factory International are looking for a Stage Manager to work on a rehearsed reading of Mojisola Adebayo’s Resistance.

Rate of pay:

£175 per day, £350 overall.

Dates:
Rehearsal: 18th February 2026

Reading: 19th February 2026

Location:
The Hall, Aviva Studios home of Factory International, Manchester, M3 4JQ.

Role Requirements:
The role will consist of supporting in rehearsal room process, reporting to the Production Manager and Producer as needed, and ensuring a safe and smooth running of the rehearsed reading.

Person specifications:
A supportive team player with excellent communication skills. Experience in Stage Management and working closely with actors and directors is essential. Experience working on book in a rehearsal room is desirable. We are keen to hear from applicants from the Global Majority and/or identify as LGBTQ+. Applicants must be based locally.
