Job Description
The Merchandise Supervisor is responsible for the full-time management and delivery of merchandise operations across both offline and online sales channels.
The role combines team supervision, operational coordination, and hands-on involvement where required, ensuring smooth sales processes, accurate stock control, effective online order management, and a high standard of customer service.
The Merchandise Supervisor leads the merchandise team, oversees the operation of the online merchandise store, and ensures all merchandise activity aligns with company policies and operational standards
Job Requirements
Organise and coordinate merchandise sales for show operations as well as online processing.
Maintain accurate stock records and promptly inform Management of the need to replenish supplies.
Prepare sales and stock reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
Check deliveries against packing lists and confirm receipt of goods.
Operate and oversee the TOAST POS system.
Oversee online order processing, including customer communication, order fulfilment, and resolution of delivery, return, or exchange issues.
Supervise, train, and, when necessary, recruit Merch Assistants.
Create and approve staff schedules in Deputy.
Ensure the merchandising area is presented to the highest standard.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Liaise with Management regarding sales performance and merchandise needs.
Ensure compliance with payment processing and reporting procedures.
