Location: UK & Ireland Tour, late April – early November 2026

JWP are looking for an Assistant Stage Manager to join The Last Laugh UK & Ireland Tour. The ideal candidate will have previous touring experience, great communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set build during get-in and take down during get-out, alongside the Company Stage Manager.
  • Necessary set maintenance during the week.
  • ASM duties during show running in the week, including props, wardrobe, and wigs maintenance.
  • Assist and support Creatives, Production Teams, Backstage Departments throughout Rehearsals, Technical Rehearsals and show running to ensure a smooth production.
  • Manage and update Show Paperwork, including setting lists, cue sheets, crew plots and props trackers.
  • Supporting the Company Stage Manager to ensure the smooth running of the show.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attend and be present for Rehearsals, Production Periods, Show Running and Cover Rehearsals as required.
  • Assisting the Company Stage Manager with administrative tasks.
  • Attend any rehearsals, production, technical, and attend and participate in staff/team meetings as and when required.
