Job Summary

Join us as Lettings and Communities Manager to support our provision of artist studios and community projects across London. This is a dynamic role that goes beyond desk-based work and would be ideal for someone interested in building their creative network.

Job Description

We are looking for a Lettings and Communities Manager to play a key role in managing and promoting our network of artists’ studios across London. This is a hands-on position combining lettings, social media, and community engagement.

Your main focus will be studio lettings – guiding artists from initial enquiry through to move-in. You’ll manage waiting lists, organise viewings, conduct inductions, and ensure new studio holders are welcomed and informed about building access, fire safety, and general upkeep. You’ll also help maintain cleanliness and ensure that studios are ready for occupation. As the main point of contact, you will foster strong relationships with our studio community.

Alongside lettings, you will manage V22’s social media presence and digital communications, promoting available studios, artist activities, and community events. You’ll create engaging posts and campaigns that reflect V22’s values and help attract new studio holders and audiences.

The third key part of this role is community engagement. You’ll develop and deliver projects that strengthen both our internal studio holder community and our connections with the wider public. These may include open studios, exhibitions, social events such as the V22 Summer Party, and collaborative programmes like the V22-Goldsmiths Scholarship for graduates.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident communicating both online and in person, and is happy to move between office-based admin and on-the-ground work. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that values initiative, responsibility, and kindness. There is the opportunity to grow in the role and to take the lead on delivering creative and community programming.

The role can be full-time or near full-time, and we welcome applications from candidates seeking flexible hours around school or creative commitments.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience.

Job Requirements

We’re looking for someone organised, personable, and proactive who enjoys both administration and hands-on work. You should have:

  • Experience in lettings, building operations, or customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence managing viewings, inductions, and public-facing interactions.
  • Good social media and digital communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Awareness of or interest in the arts and creative communities.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Willingness to undertake GDPR, health and safety and fire awareness training.
  • Based in London, with ability to travel between V22 sites.
