Job Summary
Job Description
We are able to punch above our weight with press and positioning, as our track record demonstrates. We also gain consistent excellent feedback on the visitor experience as demonstrated in our google reviews. However, we have seen smaller visitor numbers than we would like and we are seeking support with our audience development and marketing.
We would like a professional to support us with a clear plan to attract:
Traditional domestic ‘heritage’ audiences (coach tours etc)
Tourists visiting London’s cultural offer
School and university groups
We would like the consultant to create an activity plan that can help us achieve the above aims. This should include recommended tactics for achieving the above.
We have already done quite a lot of internal work on our strategic plan, brand, positioning and content. We don’t need to do any further work on this at the moment, so this contract should therefore focus on practical actions to help us broaden the reach of the museum.
Fee, expenses & arrangements:
We would estimate that the consultant would work on an intensive basis in the outset of the contract, with monitoring and 2 x check-ins built in post contract.
The contract is based upon deliverables.
The fee structure will be set out over a 12 month period with the fee set out over 3 month intervals, based upon deliverables.
We have budgeted an additional £1000.00 for any in house capacity building and/or resources that need to be developed.

Job Requirements
Working with the co-directors, trustees and community members, the individual or organisation will report in to Jess Turtle, co-director.
A full proposal for this work will be used as the basis for the contracted deliverables.
