Job Description
TaleGate Theatre is looking for talented and organised Company Manager/Swing to bring our Winter Wonderland Workshop to life for families this Christmas. This is an opportunity to be part of a magical immersive experience where pantomime-inspired storytelling meets interactive play and improvisation.
This project will transform six themed spaces into a festive world filled with character encounters and playful moments.
- Rehearsals: 17th and 18th November 2025
- Performances: 29th and 30th November, 6th and 7th December, 13th and 14th December, 19 to 24 December 2025 – PLEASE NOTE: Performers must be available for ALL dates
- Working hours: 9am to 5pm with a one hour break
- Pay: £200 per performance day
- Travel and accommodation are not provided so this opportunity will particularly suit actors who are local to the area (B98 9DB) or able to commute easily
Job Requirements
As Company Manager you will manage and deliver interactive theatrical experiences for families visiting our Winter Wonderland. You will develop and inhabit unique characters, guide audiences through immersive environments and respond creatively to audience interaction. Whilst a framework and story will be provided, the role relies heavily on improvisation and your ability to bring the world to life beyond a fixed script.
