Job Summary

DARKFIELD will be bringing four container shows to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in 2025. We are looking for Technicians to help support the run.

Job Description

Within your shift, you will be operating one of our shows lasting up to 30 minutes in length. You will be using Qlab to run the shows and operating any special effects depending on the show. Previous experience with COGS is also beneficial but not required.

You will also be responsible for the show turn-over, resetting the show technically and getting the set physically ready for the next audience. You may need to brief the FOH on their briefing and you will work closely with them to manage the audience.
You will be expected to be able to carry out occasional troubleshooting with the support of one of our Senior Technical Managers. We’re looking for confident technicians who are fast learners and self-motivated, and take pride in the work they do.

Job Requirements

AVAILABILITY & FEE:

DATES: 6 October – 3 November 2025
PAY: £15 per hour
SHIFTS: Shifts will be available Tuesday – Sunday and will be broken up into blocks depending on the day and people’s availability. Shift times will vary between 4 – 7 hours, some longer shifts will be available.
You do not have to be available for all the dates.
