Job Summary

I am seeking a ballroom dancer (teacher/performer) to collaborate with me in an intensive 3-month

Job Description

Fee: £1,500

Hours: 2-3 in-person sessions per week (approx. 5-7 hours weekly) + preparation and guidance for self-practice. Total ~6-9 hours weekly across 3 months.

(Very flexible, will be agreed upon together)

Location: Bristol + surrounding areas (travel up to 1 hour possible)

Contract: Freelance, 3 months (with flexibility on start date)

The work will involve daily training, some days 1:1 with you, some days self-directed with your guidance, as I learn ballroom and Latin dances in the spirit of Strictly Come Dancing. Each week will culminate in a small performance between us, accompanied by reflection on the dynamics of learning, partnering, and the relationship that forms through dance.

This is both a training role and an artistic collaboration. I am looking for someone who can bring technical skill, teaching ability, and a willingness to explore the relational/creative dimensions of dance.

Job Requirements

  • Trained in ballroom and Latin styles (competitive, professional, or teaching background)

  • Teaching experience welcome but not essential

  • Comfortable partnering with complete beginner

  • Open to blending traditional dance training with conceptual exploration

  • Reliable, collaborative, and committed for the 3-month period

How to Apply

Please send a short statement about your dance background and teaching/performing experience, plus any video links or clips, to [email protected] by 09/07/25.
