Inspired by T S Eliot’s poem, Journey of the Magi is a festive, light-hearted, joyful event with a moving and profound message. Aimed at families, the show attracts all ages and tours to churches, schools and community venues across the UK.
What we are looking for
Springs Dance Company creates dance with heart and soul for theatre, church and community settings.
We are looking for a male dancer who is:
- A highly skilled contemporary dancer and performer, experienced and quick to pick up movement
- Friendly, respectful, and positive
- Willing to be involved in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the tour such as unloading the van, laying the floor, ironing costumes etc.
- Comfortable engaging with the public
- Willing to tour nationally
- Sympathetic to the Company’s Christian ethos
The dancer must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to act as an employment sponsor.
Dates 2025
Rehearsals:
Days 1 & 2 – Dates tbc
Days 3, 4 & 5 – Monday 10th – Wednesday 12th November 2025
Days 6 & 7 – Tuesday 18th – Wednesday 19th November 2025
Dress rehearsal – Thursday 20th November 2025
The venue for the rehearsals is still to be confirmed.
Touring period
Friday 21st November – Monday 22nd December 2025
We ask that performers keep open these dates in their diary whilst we invite bookings, up until 6 weeks before the touring period commences. We anticipate booking between 10 – 16 shows during the touring period.
