Job Summary

Wac Arts is seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Assistant to support the delivery of dynamic and inclusive dance sessions for young people. The successful candidate will assist lead tutors in delivering classes, help manage the learning environment, and inspire students.

Job Description

The role requires experience and confidence in street dance, contemporary, musical theatre, and pop/commercial dance styles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their teaching journey who is eager to grow within a creative and supportive arts education environment.

Wac Arts Saturday Assistants are paid £16 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) and work Saturdays during term time (from Saturday 20th September 2025 until 11th July 2026) and teach in 10-week blocks, for each of the 3 terms. Assistants will work a minimum of 4 hours per week (on a Saturday).
