About CW+
CW+ is the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust including its hospitals and clinics. Our art and design programme combines digital, visual and performing arts with innovative design. Our programme aims to transform the hospital experience and environment for patients, their families and the staff who care for them.
Job profile
The art technician will support the delivery of our arts programme. This will mainly include the maintenance of our RELAX digital programme and sound programme. The art technician will ensure all technical equipment within the hospital is working and be able to troubleshoot problems specific to installations.
Job Requirements
Specific responsibilities
- Maintain and install digital projects.
- Ensure that interventions are always working and solve issues with technology as they arise.
- Manage a maintenance programme for equipment used in the programme, which currently includes music systems, digital screens, and media players.
- Manage remote content delivery systems.
- Manage a backup of all relevant digital material.
- Ensure new content is uploaded onto media players.
- Ensure playlists are updated for sound systems
