Job Description
The Registrar’s role in the company is vital, as this person works with all teams and departments closely, plus all of our artists, suppliers and clients. The Director and sales team work closely with the client to provide curation services and lease or sell artwork to our clients. The Registrar’s role involves the administration and logistics of implementing the services we have provided to the client, which includes shipping, logistics, working with art technicians, contracts and document sign off. Outside of client projects the Registrar liaises regularly with artists and keeps our systems, databases, records and storage up to date.

This is a part-time role which would suit someone who has worked in the arts industry for a few years, and either wishes to reduce their hours or wants to get back into work. It would also suit people returning to work after a career break or transitioning from another similar industry. Flexible and remote working is available, but you should be able to travel to London easily and work with the director 2 days a week, as we work together in the office every Tuesday and Thursday.
Please note this role offers £1329.60 per month. The full time equivalent salary is £28,808 per annum.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of Artlogic or a similar system
- Paying attention to detail
- Use of initiative, forethought and forward planning
- Able to work remotely without much supervision but still achieve targets.
- Work to deadlines
- Be able to prioritise
- Manage and coordinate logistics and shipping of complex projects
- Coordinate multiple suppliers and parts of a project to bring everything together.
- Liaise with artists, suppliers and freelance staff.
- Manage Excel spreadsheets and understand budgets
- Manage suppliers
- Create and manage effective systems to track projects
- Be comfortable working with cloud-based technology such as trello and dropbox.
- Be ready and willing to physically carry artwork when necessary.
- Create and track contracts with suppliers and clients.
- Strong administration skills
- AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE ART WORLD
