Artists' Collecting Society
Job Summary
Job Description
Permanent, part-time role based in Notting Hill
2.5 – 3 days per week
The Artists’ Collecting Society (ACS) is a London-based not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to the administration of intellectual property rights on behalf of artists and artists’ estates.
ACS is seeking an Art Sales Researcher to conduct data entry of information relating to visual artists’ intellectual property rights. The Art Sales Researcher will be responsible for accurately cataloguing information relating to the art market sales of works by artists who are members of ACS.
This is a part-time role with flexible hours during the regular work week. You will work as part of ACS’ small and dynamic team, based in Notting Hill (currently a hybrid working system).
The ideal candidate will be a meticulous individual with a keen attention to detail who enjoys working independently off-site or from home.
The candidate must be a positive individual who is flexible, takes initiative and possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will focus on inputting information regarding art market sales to an online database, so candidates must be comfortable with a role that is primarily data entry and confident in their ability to enter a large volume of data accurately and efficiently.
Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion will be valued, as well as a consistently professional approach.
We welcome applications from individuals at any point in their career looking for part-time work in the art world, who are computer literate and comfortable working with databases and data entry.
