Job Summary
Job Description
Individual Artist Management (IAM) is a dynamic, young company representing some of the UK’s most exciting comedy talent across live performance, television, film and digital. We also run a small but busy production arm. As the company expands, we’re looking for someone to take ownership of our day-to-day bookkeeping and support us in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
The role:
You’ll work two days a week (one from our London office, one from home), supporting the Directors with all things finance. You’ll manage books for multiple entities, keep us VAT-compliant, settle with clients and ensure our systems are accurate, up-to-date, and clearly presented.
Job Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Solid bookkeeping experience – ideally within a creative business (experience with agencies or production companies is a strong plus)
- Bonus: Experience handling finances for businesses that hold funds in escrow for clients
- Strong knowledge of financial software, particularly QuickBooks
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and the wider Microsoft and Google office suites
- Familiarity with UK VAT and tax practices
- Able to work independently and flag potential issues or inefficiencies
- Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive information
