Job Description
JWP are looking for an experienced Sound No. 3 to join The Devil Wears Prada at The Dominion Theatre, London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience on a large scale West End musical, great communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to learn.
Start date: August/September 2025
Job Requirements
- Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in sound, the ability to work under pressure and effectively within a team, good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of all equipment, including checks prior to performances.
- Assisting the department in compiling and keeping up to date cue sheets and other relevant show paperwork.
- Learning to mix the show to provide cover for the department.
- Assisting with emergency repairs when required.
- Having an awareness of understudies and swings that are performing ahead of each show and making adjustments as necessary.
- Attend any rehearsals or calls and participate in staff/team meetings as and when required.
