Job Description
An award-winning producer and promoter of live comedy, throughout the UK & North America, seeks a highly motivated, dedicated individual to join their UK team in a key publicity role this summer.The Publicity Officer will be working across the full range of the company’s productions taking place at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2025, where they will be responsible for leading press campaigns for multiple shows, as well as supporting the company’s overall roster of productions.

REQUIREMENTS

An understanding of the UK comedy scene and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe; the comedians, venues and the Fringe environment.

A passion for live comedy.

A passion for publicity and keenness to gain further experience in this field.

Demonstrable experience with press release writing.

Experience of understanding of press campaigns’ key tasks and needs.

Copywriting experience.

Video editing skills

Strong organizational skills and a natural attention to detail.

An ability to communicate with journalists, in a quick, effective and positive manner.

A strong desire to gain further experience, and to grow your career within the company
