Job Description

Are you passionate about a society that is fair and equitable for everyone? Would you like to help ensure disabled people thrive in arts and culture?

Join Disability Arts Online’s (DAO) Board of Trustees and make a meaningful impact, using your skills and experience to support a charitable organisation in achieving its mission.

Disability Arts Online is dedicated to increasing the number of disabled people in arts and cultural governance. Through our constitution our board committed to 80% of trustees identifying as disabled. Every time we look for new board members, we want disabled people to apply.

We acknowledge that institutional racism, discrimination and inequality exists in our sector and understand that disability is an intersectional experience. As such, we are strongly committed to ensuring that people from diverse backgrounds and protected characteristics help steer our organisation. We are actively seeking to increase representation of young people (under 30) and people from global majority backgrounds.

If you are interested but would like a chat with a trustee or Trish Wheatley (CEO) before applying, please contact mailto:[email protected][email protected]
