Job Description

PQA is a weekend performing arts academy for 4-18 year olds. We offer fun, professional training in musical theatre, comedy & drama, and film & TV. We’re passionate about creativity, confidence-building and inclusion – creating a space where every young person can thrive.

Are you passionate about performing arts and love working with young people? We’re looking for a confident, organised and caring Academy Supervisor to support our thriving weekend performing arts academies in Warrington and Salford.

This is a freelance role on Saturday mornings, where you’ll take the lead in running the PQA Warrington and PQA Salford academies, on alternating weeks with the Principal. You’ll be a calm and friendly presence that both students and parents can turn to, while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

About the Role

  • Location: PQA Warrington (Appleton) & PQA Salford (Media City) (rotated weekly)
  • Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00am-1:00pm (approx. 41 weeks/year)
  • Pay: £55-£60 per session, depending on experience

You’ll be the go-to person on the day. Overseeing the session, greeting parents, supporting staff and students, and stepping in to help where needed. While this isn’t a teaching role, experience in performing arts and working with children is essential.

We’re not necessarily looking for someone with management experience, just someone who’s great with people, super organised, and confident leading a team.
