About the role:
To provide creative guidance and oversee the innovative and audience-focused design development of temporary exhibitions, permanent display, and other projects in the public areas of the Museum from team allocation and briefing to implementation. This will involve ensuring services are delivered in line with the Museum’s vision and strategies, on schedule and within budget. Liaising closely with curators, interpretation managers, project managers and production staff, this role will act as an innovator, advisor and escalation point for the effective design and project management of these services.
Job Requirements
About you:
- Degree in 3D Design
- High level of creative ability demonstratable through portfolios and qualifications, utilising Vectorworks and 3D visualization software to clearly develop and communicate concepts.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Sketchup/Rhino, and other design visualisation
- Skilled planner, with an ability to prioritise and manage oversight of several projects at once.
- Strong and persuasive collaborator able to work successfully as part of multi-disciplinary project teams
