We are looking for a Hospitality Coordinator to manage and deliver the Hospitality programme for the BFI London Film Festival with the support of the Hospitality Team. This includes developing, planning and executing a large portfolio of LFF hospitality events including filmmakers’ lunches and receptions, networking drinks, and other bespoke events for the duration of the festival, managing a team of coordinators, assistants and volunteers.
BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.
Key responsibilities include:

Working closely with the Senior Production Manager and the Filmmaker and Industry Services Manager to plan and deliver a large portfolio of LFF hospitality events including filmmaker lunches and receptions, networking drinks, and other bespoke events for the duration of the festival

Working with the Senior Production Manager in researching and booking a range of central London venues for a diverse portfolio of LFF hospitality events

Managing a team of Hospitality Coordinators, Assistants and festival volunteers, working efficiently to maintain clear responsibilities within the team for delivering festival hospitality events

Developing a clear scheduling system, integrated with the hospitality database, that ensures all Guest Services, Production and Delegate Services Teams can see Hospitality plans for Filmmaker and Industry guests
Job Requirements

Significant relevant experience of working at a similar level within hospitality at a film festival or similar events

Experience of line management and leading teams to deliver successfully against objectives set

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with other departments and with external clients/partners and service providers

Proven ability to manage and work to strict budgets
