Job Summary

SLYT is looking for a new Drama Teacher to join our team in delivering classes to over 100 children aged 7 – 16 years every week; and to direct our annual productions staged at theatres across London.

Job Description

We are looking to appoint a new Drama Teacher / Director to lead our Tuesday night drama classes in Dulwich, South-East London.

Our 90 minute classes are delivered back to back on Tuesday evenings from 6.30-9.30pm, during normal school term time (approx 37 weeks per year). The right candidate will be armed with ideas and creative ways to engage our students, encouraging them to build on their skills and passion for acting and performance.

Payment is £30 per hour / £90 per week.

Job Requirements

Excellent time keeping and organisation skills with a proven ability to deliver well structured and engaging drama classes to children of all ages, leading to full scale theatre productions.

Excellent training in drama and the performing arts.
