Founded in a shop basement in 2008, CTA Performing Arts has grown into a family-oriented school dedicated to helping students achieve their potential in the Performing Arts. Our students engage in various disciplines, including dance, musical theatre, and drama, with many currently in lead roles in West End shows and UK tours. We proudly partner with one of the top 10 talent agencies in the UK and are finalists for the Independent Business of the Year 2025 at the Club Hub Awards.
*Role Overview:*
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable teacher to invest in our students and help us continue growing. This role involves teaching and contributing to the management of our school to enhance operations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
– Teach various dance disciplines, including ballet, tap, modern, and jazz.
– Manage our Dance Company programme
– Participate in our holiday camps, ensuring consistent work opportunities.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
– Minimum of five years of teaching experience or a performing artist transitioning into teaching.
– ISTD background preferred; full training provided for the right candidate.
– Competition experience is advantageous.
– Good computer and organisational skills

Job Requirements
– Minimum of five years of teaching experience or a performing artist transitioning to teaching.
– ISTD qualification preferred; full training provided for suitable candidates.
– Strong background in various dance disciplines (ballet, tap, modern, jazz).
– Experience working with children and young people is highly beneficial.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
– Strong organisational and communication skills for effective classroom management and collaboration with staff.
– Competence in using technology for administrative tasks and lesson planning.
– Flexibility to participate in holiday camps and special events throughout the year.
– A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
– Hours – from 10-26 hours per week – with potential for a full time role
